Friendship dynamics of young men with non-exclusive sexual orientations: Group diversity, physical intimacy and emotionality

Non-exclusive sexuality identity labels such as “mostly straight” and gay” describe distinct sexualities. While research documents their existence distinctiveness, little focus has been given to friendship dynamics with these groups on a heteronormative bias. In this study, we use data collected 25 men non-exclusive sexualities from university in the northeastern United States examine intimacy practices order advance understanding of beyond binary frameworks straight gay groups.
